We recently wrapped up our first ever exchange program with Martin Luther School in Plzen, Czech Republic.  Twenty students from Martin Luther spent two weeks at Pilgrim in March and flew home recently.  What an amazing, life-changing experience for both faculty and students!

7th and 8th Graders travel to PaR Systems to learn about and experience the various workings of a manufacturing company by following a product through all of its developmental phases

3rd and 4th grade will design and build garden sculptures for the local community garden

April, 2011
Kindergarten will research tools and then use them to build birdhouses and benches for local parks and gardens

5th and 6th grade travel back to Wild River State Park to disperse the seed they gathered last fall

May, 2011
3rd and 4th Grade overnight camping trip

Spring 2012
Kindergarten will research the history of pizza and practice shopping for ingredients and making pizzas of their own.

1-4 grade downhill skiing history and experience

5-6 grade will investigate the process and product of publishing a newspaper and then produce a newspaper covering Pilgrim's basketball season.

7-8 graders will experience raising urban chickens including everything from researching the different breeds to finding sources for the animals to building the coop and caring for the chickens to the harvesting process
